Those who hold a residence permit issued outside Tianjin city should apply for change of residence permit.

Materials required: Passport, Visa and Residency application form, Off-campus Registration card (students living in Weijin Road Campus do not need this card), one passport-sized photo, original copy of Proof of Employment or Proof of Transfer from another school.
Cost: Public Security Image Capture 60 yuan/person, Visa Fee 400-800 yuan/person
Special tips:
If you want to renew your Visa, you can go to Office 211, Tianjin University School of International Education in order to apply for renewal (30 days before expiry date on the Visa).
Visa Extension
According to the Chinese Government Laws and Regulations, you need to apply for visa extension one month before the visa expires.

Lost or Stolen Passport
If your passport has been lost or stolen, you must follow the instructions listed below:
1、Go to the International Student Office to get a certificate of the loss
2、Report to the local police station about your case and ask for a report of the loss
3、Bring the report and certificate to the Tianjin Public Security Bureau and apply for a written confirmation of the loss
4、Apply for a new passport with the written confirmation at your embassy in Beijing.
5、Go back to the International Student Office with your new passport and apply for a new student visa. Please note that you must go back to the police station to renew your housing registration as well.
