SHORT TERM PROGRAM

As China’s first modern university, Tianjin University carries the profound heritage of a century-old institution and the mission of cross-cultural communication. In 2026, Tianjin University will launch a Chinese language summer camp for overseas teenagers. With Chinese language learning as the bridge, cultural experience as the link, and Tianjin city visits as an extension, the camp offers overseas teenagers an immersive experience of the charm of the Chinese language, the essence of traditional culture, and the vitality of a modern metropolis, building a solid bridge of friendship between Chinese and foreign young people.

I. Qualifications

Non-Chinese citizens aged 16 to 45, in good physical and mental health, with an interest in Chinese language and culture, and capable of living independently.

II. Curriculum Design

Chinese language courses, Chinese culture courses, cultural experience activities, and visits to professional schools of the university.

III. Costs(Unit:RMB Yuan)

Tuition fee: RMB 3,000 (for two weeks)

Accommodation fee: RMB 70 per person per day for a single room; RMB 55 per person per day for a double room

Application fee: RMB 420 per person

IV. Application Process and Procedure

1.Application documents:

①Application Form (Scan the QR code to download, or refer to the attachment at the end of the article.) 

②Copy of passport 

③2 recent bareheaded photos (size: 3.5cm×4.5cm); another 2 photos are required for submission upon check-in.

2.Program duration: July 6 to July 19, 2026   Application deadline: June 14, 2026
