In the summer of 2026, Tianjin University will continue to launch the "Chinese Immersion · Wonderful Tianjin Exploration" Overseas Youth Study Tour Camp. With Chinese language learning as the bridge, cultural experience as the link, and Tianjin city visits as the extension, the camp enables overseas youth to immerse themselves in the charm of the Chinese language, the essence of traditional culture, and the vitality of modern cities, thus building a solid bridge of friendship between Chinese and foreign youth.

1.Tiered Chinese Language Teaching:Customized primary, intermediate, and advanced courses based on students' Chinese proficiency, focusing on practical daily communication skills. Taught by experienced teachers, the courses balance fun and practicality.
2.Immersive Cultural Experiences: Hands-on participation in intangible cultural heritage (ICH) activities such as paper-cutting, calligraphy, tea ceremony, and Chinese knot making; learning basic moves of Tai Chi, deeply experiencing the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
3.In-depth City Visits: Strolling along Five Great Avenues and Ancient Culture Street, enjoying night cruises on the Haihe River, and visiting Tianjin Museum, comprehensively appreciating Tianjin's urban characteristics of "blending Chinese and Western styles, integrating ancient and modern elements".
4.Prestigious University Atmosphere Immersion: Accommodation on Tianjin University campus, visiting the University History Museum, interacting with outstanding Tianjin University students, and personally experiencing the academic atmosphere and campus culture of a top-tier Chinese university.
II. Application Requirements
1.Group Requirement: The number of participants in the applying group should be more than 10 (including 10).
2.Target Applicants: Non-Chinese citizens aged 18-45, in good physical and mental health, interested in Chinese language and culture, and with independent living ability.
III. Schedule
According to the group's needs, Tianjin University can provide various themes and types of short-term programs, with durations ranging from 1 week to 4 weeks. The regular weekly schedule is as follows:

IV. Curriculum
1.Chinese Language Courses: Teaching daily practical Chinese based on students' proficiency levels.
2.Chinese Culture Courses: Learning and experiencing courses such as Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, paper-cutting art, Chinese knot making, seal carving, Peking Opera facial mask painting, Tai Chi, and martial arts.
3.Cultural Activity Experiences: Visiting Tianjin University campus, Tianjin University History Museum, Tianjin Cultural Center (Tianjin Museum), and touring attractions including Tianjin Ancient Culture Street, Nanshi Food Street, Five Great Avenues Tourist Area, and Minyuan Square.

VI. Cultural Activity Descriptions
1.Tianjin University History Museum
The original site of Tianjin University History Museum was the first teaching building constructed after Tianjin University moved to the Qilitai campus. Currently, it has been meticulously renovated into a university history museum. To preserve the original style of this old building, the university added a glass anteroom outside the structure. Through the "time tunnel" introducing Tianjin University's history, visitors can view important historical photos from the university's development.
2.Ancient Culture Street
With a history of over 600 years, Tianjin Ancient Culture Street is located outside Dongmen, Northeast Corner, Nankai District, Tianjin, on the west bank of the Haihe River, covering an area of 224,200 square meters. In history, this area was a bustling water-land transportation hub with numerous boats and carriages gathering. As a famous cultural scenic spot in Tianjin, Ancient Culture Street has long attracted a large number of tourists from home and abroad.
3.Five Great Avenues Tourist Area
The Five Great Avenues Cultural Tourist Area refers to a rectangular region south of Chengdu Avenue, north of Machang Avenue, east of Xikang Road, and west of the intersection of Machang Avenue and Nanjing Road. It boasts more than 2,000 garden-style foreign-style houses built in the 1920s and 1930s, including over 300 historical buildings and former residences of celebrities, known as the "Exhibition Hall of World Architecture". With 23 crisscrossing roads spanning 17 kilometers in total length and covering an area of 1.28 square kilometers, it is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.
4.Minyuan Square
Located at No. 83 Chongqing Road, Heping District, Tianjin (the core area of Five Great Avenues), Minyuan Square was formerly Minyuan Stadium built in 1920, which was once a top comprehensive stadium in Asia. After the renovation project launched in 2012, it was transformed into an open square integrating leisure and fitness, cultural and museum exhibitions, and characteristic commerce. Its British classical architectural style is deeply loved by people.
5.Tianjin Museum
Located in the Tianjin Cultural Center, Tianjin Museum is a large-scale comprehensive art and history museum showcasing ancient Chinese art and the development history of Tianjin. It is the largest public welfare cultural institution in Tianjin integrating collection, preservation, research, exhibition, and education, as well as a window for foreign cultural exchange.
VII. Registration Fees
1.Tuition Fees: 1,300 yuan per person (for 1 week); 2,600 yuan per person (for 2 weeks); 3,800 yuan per person (for 3 weeks); 5,000 yuan per person (for 4 weeks); (All fees are in RMB, excluding on-campus meals)
2.Accommodation Fees: Single room: 70 yuan per person per day; Double room: 55 yuan per person per day;
3.Insurance Fee: 100 yuan per person;
4.Registration Fee: 420 yuan per person.
Note: If there are additional requirements for the schedule, the tuition fee will be adjusted accordingly.

2.Application Materials: ① "Application Form for Tianjin University Summer Overseas Youth Study Tour Camp" (see attachment); ② Copy of passport; ③ 2 recent passport-sized photos (3.5cm×4.5cm), and 2 additional photos should be submitted upon registration. All application materials will not be returned regardless of admission results.
