I. Introduction
In order to train global governance talents with a broad international perspective, superior comprehensive quality, outstanding leadership and multicultural background, Tianjin University undertakes the Chinese Government Scholarship-Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program which includes 3 English-taught majors for master degree:

3. Training approach and duration:
The curriculum leads to a master's degree and follow the "1+1" paradigm. In the first academic year, students are required to do their full-time basic course work and research in Tianjin University while finishing up their dissertation preparations. In the second academic year, based on the working experience and major requirements, students must work in their home countries and finish their dissertations based on studies and actual work. Thesis defense can be conducted online. Master’s degree and graduation certificate will be awarded to those who meet the graduation and the thesis defense requirements of Tianjin University.

IV. Eligibility
1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be under the age of 45 in good health both mentally and physically.
2. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or higher degree and at least three years of work experience. Those with professional training or work experience related to the proposed program will be given preference.
3. Applicants must be one of the following four categories:
① Government officials at the division chief level (or equivalent level) or above;
② Senior managers of an institution or enterprise;
③ Administrators of universities or scientific research institutions;
④ Those who have relevant employment or internship experience in international organizations.
4. Applicants must meet the requirements of “Admission to Master Programs of Tianjin University 2025” and have received the pre-admission letter issued by Tianjin University.
5. Applicants for the Business Administration program should have an undergraduate or master degree in management, economics, or science and engineering.
V. Application Process
1. For supporting your scholarship application, you are required to apply for TJU Pre-admission Letter. Please login in the International Student Management System of Tianjin University (tju.at0086.cn/student). After registration and login, fill the form completely as required, and upload the relevant certificate attachments according to the requirements of the system.

2. After receiving the Pre-admission Letter from Tianjin University, applicants should register online and submit application materials to the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) before 23:59 on March 31, 2025（GMT+8）. (Please note the scholarship type should be“Type A”, the agency code is 1563, the applied program is “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship” )
VI. Evaluation and admission
1. The application materials will undergo a preliminary examination by the China Scholarship Council.
2. China Scholarship Council will arrange a second examination by a panel of experts. The final enrollment results will be announced after expert review.
