Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or consensus between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities or international organizations. Bilateral Program supports undergraduate programs, master’s programs, doctoral programs, general scholar programs and senior scholar programs. Applicants should consult the dispatching authorities in the home countries for the programs available and for the specific deadline of each year, and apply to the dispatching authorities in due time.
I. How to apply
For supporting your scholarship application, you are welcome to apply for TJU Pre-admission Letter :
Please login in the International Student Service System (ISSS) (tju.at0086.cn/student) before February 1st, 2025. Applicants should fill in the application information online, upload the application documents to the Online Application System.
For the eligible applicants, we will issue the Pre-admission Letter in 10 working days upon receiving the documents.
II. Application Guide for Bilateral Program
1. Submit the application to the dispatching department (usually the embassy or Consulate-General of the country in which China is stationed) and consult the relevant declaration qualifications to confirm the declaration qualifications
2. Apply for TJU Pre-admission Letter once recommended by the dispatching authorities as an eligible candidate upon receiving the Award Letter for CGS Candidate. With this Pre-admission Letter, your choice of TJU will be respected.
3. A package of complete application documents must be submitted to the dispatching authorities in your home countries before the deadline. Please click the link to check the detailed information.

4. Neither CSC nor TJU is entitled to accept the applications for Bilateral Program directly. Please DO NOT submit your application to CSC or TJU directly. Only applications of recommended candidates from dispatching authorities will be considered.
III. Tracking the Admission Procedures
Before July 31st, CSC will send the List of Scholarship Winners, Admission Letter and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW201) to the Chinese Embassy (Consulate General), who will forward the documents to the dispatching authorities or the scholarship winners.
